I am a Consultant Neuro-psychiatrist based in Bangalore. After finishing M.B.B.S from Government Medical College, Nagpur with honors, I completed my M.D. in Psychiatry from Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals and Grant Medical College, Mumbai. Topped in the Maharashtra University and was awarded the ‘Gold Medal’.

I have worked as Assistant Professor for two years in reputed medical college in Bangalore. PAST- worked as- Therapist for reputed N.G.O. working with L.G.B.T population in Mumbai ( 2009 to 2010),Consultant Psychiatrist for Sandnya Sanwardhan Sanstha, Nagpur (N.G.O working for mentally challenged children) (Aug-10 to Nov-11), also at Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission,Nagpur (Aug-10 to Nov-11) and for SNEHANCHAL (Palliative Care Unit),Nagpur (Nov-10 to Nov-11)

I have a vast experience in dealing with all psychiatric problems like- Anxiety, Depression, Psychosis, Sleep disorders, Sexual disorders and Gender related issues, Child Psychiatry, Dementia and old age issues.

Have been the recipient of the DR. A.K.NAIK AWARD for groundbreaking research on "Psychopathology in female prisoners" of Mumbai.

I am being one among the privileged few to be selected from scores of applications received from SAARC countries for ‘Early Career Psychiatrist professional skills and leadership training workshop’ conducted at NIMHANS, in the year 2014.

I have finished by certificate courses in Perinatal Psychiatry from NIMHANS and finished certificate course in Palliative Care (Branch dealing with taking care of terminally ill) conducted by IAPC.

Have several International and National scientific publications to my credit. My book citing my experiences with patients has been published in Marathi (Jan-2013) titled- "Manachya Khol Talatun". Recently my 2nd book got published in Marathi titled-"Mann ani Apan" which gives information about how to prevent and treat mental illnesses (2019)

Have been invited as Faculty and Guest Speaker at both National and International conferences.

Have also been an Investigator in clinical trials and research activities at a local, national and global level.

Have conducted workshops and seminars and industry training programs for various Companies . Have also conducted a series of Mental health awareness workshops in academic institutes. Am working as Corporate trainer and Motivational speaker for several MNCs and have been associated with more than 34 companies so far.

Am writing regularly in newspapers & magazines on mental health, other medical and social issues and working as medical editor for many online portals.
